29th September 2023:
A most pleasant place to stay, whether looking for accommodation only a short walk from town or for a retreat from the busy world. Open the curtains and the double doors to the balcony, listen to the river tottling down to the sea and take breakfast into the fresh air.
Tips:Get hold of a bus timetable and leave the car behind. Walk along the seafront to the station for public transport to St. Ives [don't try your car] or go along to Newlyn and Mousehole. [The little local 'Mousehole' bus can be used on the return] Still got energy? Go inland to Paul village- a granite church and a proper pub restaurant. Mr Stone's taxi could bring you back.

A lovely, well-equipped place to stay with the patio next to the river. The steps to the 1st floor were narrow/steep but manageable. Thank you for your warm welcome and helpful recommendations, etc.

25th February 2023:
Our host made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is excellent, very comfortable and well equipped for a self-catering stay. The on-street parking outside Rosalie House is free and in a safe location (the Annexe is at the back of the property).
Tips:The location is close to the seafront, provides easy access to the centre of Penzance and the Cornish countryside. Penlee House Gallery & Museum only 5min walk has an excellent café. For evening meals most places to eat can be found on Chapel St. We particularly liked the 'Artist Residence' and 'Admiral Benbow'(12min walk). But there others we have enjoyed in the past. Recommend using the train to visit St Ives- easy no parking hassles.

11th June 2021:
Lovely annexe, which has all the facilities required. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay, it has a lovely balcony and small garden with a lovely stream at the end. It is not far from the centre of Penzance and an easy walk to newlyn/ mousehole and also to marizion and long rock. I thought the price was very reasonable for the stay and it was a nice touch to have some milk, juice and biscuits. There are supermarkets very close ( 10 min walk) In fact we did not take our car and didn’t need it as everything was close, good public transport links and we were able to hire bikes nearby.
Tips:Lots of restaurants in Penzance and newlyn. Mousehole is lovely to have a look round and also marizion. We spent a day in the Isles of Scilly ( St. Mary’s) and it was beautiful. Lovely beaches at st ives, marizion and Porthcurno. Open top bus is lovely, all the way to lands end and back. Needed longer than a week to be honest. I think Penzance is a great place to stay when exploring south Cornwall.

3rd June 2021:
We stayed here for 8 nights in May and had a lovely time. It was our first family holiday with our 18 month old daughter, and Liz made sure everything was perfect for us. She let us borrow a high chair, and even installed a stair gate prior to our arrival. This made it very safe and comfortable for us. The house had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, shower was very powerful and hot, and the garden and balcony were really pretty. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather but we still had a great time. Loved Cornwall, and would definitely stay at Rosalie Annexe again!

11th October 2020:
Very private compact but well appointed accommodation with a great outdoor seating space ( only the weather stopped us using it!) and a fantastic private balcony.
Tips:2 minute walk to the chippy, who have worked out how to accommodate the Covid restrictions. Great fish to take home. ( shuts at 20:00) Good pub round the corner from the chip shop.

6th September 2020:
This is a wonderful (small) home from home with absolutely everything you could need. The balcony and garden seating area are a real plus - you'd struggle to get one of those let alone both for a similar price in a normal hotel room. The self-contained aspect of the Annex is ideal during the times of a pandemic. One of us had been sheltering so a 'normal' hotel would have been out of the question. There was generous provision of milk, muesli, orange juice and tea and coffee, along with shower gel, soaps, washing up items (even though there is a dishwasher). All the appliances, etc worked perfectly. The Rosalie Annex also has free Netflix and Freeview tv with all the catch apps along with three TV sets, so great if like us you like to stay in in the evening.
Tips:Penzance centre is easy walking distance, as is the seafront and harbour. There is a Lidl within a couple of hundred yards, as well as a large Co-op next to it that also is a petrol station. We enjoyed the vegan options at The Honey Pot (other options available) a snack and drink in the Orangery Cafe in the nearby park and good chips (cooked in vegetable oil) from The Market Plaice Fish and Chips.

A beautiful little flat in a quiet area close to the ocean as well as shops and restaurants. We loved the little balcony at the back of the flat.
Tips:The 3 mile walk to Mousehole is beautiful and good if you have children, because it is not far. The bus services are good and takes you all around Cornwall! The park nearby has a playground, which my daughter loved.
